How to Build a Shaker Card/ CTMH White Pines

I had fun creating this shaker card using White Pines CTMH paper and the October SOTM.

I used Champagne ink to stamp words onto the background of the base of the shaker window on the tree side of the White Pines paper.
I used Cranberry ink to stamp my sentiment.
I used CTMH's Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the bow.

to create the shaker window I used CTMH's Art Philosophy to cut out a scalloped square (from White Pines) and scalloped frame (from Cranberry card stock) the same size. Then cut a piece of transparency a little smaller and adhere it to the under side of the frame.

Next add foam tape that has some thickness to it so that there will be room for sequin and beads to move.

Make sure the corners meet so that there is no gap for beads to sneak through.

Add a pinch of red and gold sequin, two pinches of clear seed beads and a few long beads. Don't over fill or the beads and sequin wont move.

Place the backing and line up the scallops.

Remove one protective piece of paper from one foam tape strip while holding the back in place. secure and continue with the rest of the 3 sides.

Now your shaker is ready to apply to your card front.

I hope this inspires you to create something from your heart.
Laurie
