This is a special LO of my little pumpkins the fall we spent with my mom and step-dad after Katrina. We all worked on these costumes together. The Hershey's Kiss used to be a pumpkin costume that my grandmother Tootsie made when I was a kid. It was in bad shape, so, I took it apart and made the Kiss costume. The kids looked so SWEET! LOL I think I used all but 4 felt Mischief Complements images. A little over the top, but it is fun.

I have hidden journaling under the left side LO.

This is the right side with all the felt images.

Here is a close up of the top left corner of the 8x10 picture. Not only did I use sand paper to distress the edges of my paper layers but I also used sand paper to distress the edges of the photo. I always pull away from the edge so as not to bend the photo. I sanded in one direction at an angle and then sanded across the first direction to form an X texture on the photo. I like to get larger prints made of a few of my better photos. They are just fun to scrap when they are 5x7's or here an 8x10 photo. They are a little more expensive so I only print the really good photos at a larger size. Give it a try.

Another August SOTM standard size card. I stamped the hat twice and cut out just the hat to pop it up. I used the Mischief paper as my card base so I put an insert inside for writting on. I stamped the words "Have a Wicked Halloween" in black in right on the Mischief paper.

Here is a Cricut cut card. I set my Cricut to cut at 5 1/2 inches and it cut this standard size card perfectly. I used my least favorite color, Taffy, to do some initial cutting with my new Cricut cartridge. I cut the base image to stamp the witch, 1/4 inch larger than the opening window in the card. And matted in black cutting the same base image annother 1/4 inch larger than the piece used to stamp the witch image. I had fun wrapping a cardboard star from the Milespost cardboard shapes with black Waxy flax and tied it through a pewter button. On all of my SOTM samples, I have sponged (distressed) with black ink. I distress everything!

I just love the August Stamp Of The Month called Wicked S1108. Here are several cards I have created using the set. The first is a 3x3 card using Mischief papers and the cat. I have added the spider to the cat's tail by inking only the spider from the hat image, using a black marker.
