Close to my Heart Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book Blog Hop 3

This beautiful paper is from Ariana Paper Pack. The stamp is from Inspiration Flourishes stamp set. I used the boarded punch and a little Outdoor Denim ink to set the scallop edge apart.  Lastly, I used the Jute Ribbon to add interest.

The image is one stamp. I inked the entire image in Olive ink, rolled the bottom of the image (the words) in Outdoor Denim ink. I then inked the flower in Sorbet by using the corner of the ink pad. Lastly, I carefully rolled the top of the flower in Ruby ink.  I huffed on the stamp before stamping to reactivated or remoisten the ink. I then picked the stamp up and moved slightly down and to the right to re-stamp the image to give it depth.

I hope this inspires you to create!

Close to my Heart Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book New Product Blog Hop second post

This is a 6x5.75 scrapbook page to go onto the acrylic flip stand.  I just need to add my picture and punch the  holes in the top. I have cut the wood grain paper from Timberline Paper Pack using the wood grain over lay from Artbooking Cricut Cartridge. The frame and title are also Artbooking.

I covered some Kraft paper with Chocolate Wood Grain Washi Tape and glued it under the cutout of the wood for the camp fire.  I used Honey cardstock to back the flames but first used our CTMH alcohol makers to add some more color and dimension.

I popped up the frame and then needed to pop up the title as well. This left room to stick the Timberline wood pins under to hide the sharp ends.  I added the camper from the Timberline Assortment and Triangle Studs to act like arrows on my page.

I hope this inspires you to create!

Close to my Heart Idea Book Spring/Summer 2014 New Product Blog Hop 2

Welcome to another Blog Hop! We are sharing new product from the Close to my Heart Idea Book and Catalog. I love so much of the new product in this idea book. Here is a 3x6 card made using Teal Simmer Trim and the zip strips from the Timberline paper pack.
The stamp sets I used are True to Life (ticket) and Dreamer (girl, heart and word dream).  I let the pieces hang off the edge of the card for a little something different.
I stamped each image twice, moving the stamp a little down and to the right. I love the way it gives the image depth and gives it character and an aged look.

There are several other consultants ready to share their artwork with you. Just click on the photos below to follow the blog.

Pop-Up Box Card, Ivy Lane and Windy Day from Close to my Heart (CTMH)

This is my sample of a Pop-Up Box Card.  This is a technique recently shared on Split Coast Stampers.  I used Ivy Lane Paper, Windy Day stamp set and colored pencils to color in.
I stamped the flower heart and word using a stamp set from the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge bundle.
When the card is folded, all of the stamped pieces fold within the card. That is why my kite can not be any higher and my cloud can hang over the right edge.
The kite and girl are attached to cross pieces.
This is the inside of the box.
This is the outside.
Here is the pop-up box  folded  so that it can fit into an envelope.
I hope this inspires you to create!
